This site is dedicated to the memory of Ishbel Mackay.
This tribute has been set up in memory of Ishbel, much loved wife, mum, granny, sister and friend who is sorely missed. Ishbel passed away on 10th December 2014, peacefully and surrounded by her beloved family, just six short months after being diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Ishbel was 68 years old.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at Western Isles Hospital, ICU at Raigmore Hospital and the Emergency Medical Retrieval Team (Scottish Air Ambulance) for their dedication and care of Ishbel in her final days.
Every day our hearts are breaking; we miss Ishbel's kindness and her vibrancy and - most of all - her constant love.
